Friends Trip to Highgate Cemetery and Keats House

Join our guided tour of Highgate Cemetery, home to some of the finest funerary architecture in the country. A visit to the West Cemetery will allow us to view the grave of Christina Rossetti, whom will be the fascinating subject of our upcoming winter exhibition. Pre-Raphaelite muse Lizzie Siddal is also buried there, alongside many others of interest to Victorian art enthusiasts. We will then visit the former home of poet John Keats, of whom Rossetti wrote the poem ‘On Keats’ about. This museum is a literary centre with original manuscripts and arefacts and the winner of Time Out’s Love London award 2018.

Sensible footwear is recommended and a local restaurant will be booked for lunch, payable on the day.
